How does Online Banking Bill Payment Service work?

The Payment will either be processed with a check or through an Automated Clearing House (ACH or electronic). If the payment is processed using a check the money will be withdrawn from your account when the check clears. If the payment is processed electronically the money will be withdrawn from your account the day you instruct us to process the payment. If a request for a bill to be paid is received before 1:00 pm EST they will be sent that day, otherwise they will be sent the next business day.
